This is our new favorite breakfast place, even coming from Ann Arbor. It's low key and nothing fancy, but the staff is super friendly, the food is consistent and tasty, especially the homemade bread, and there's never a wait (at least before 10:30am). And don't pass up the free rice pudding. Plus it's super affordable!

We had a great time with the family here. Our server was so kind and nice to the kids, and she made sure we had everything we needed. As a mom of 4 I don't usually feel taken care of, but she was a saint and I was able to relax and have a great meal. We loved the food, everything tasted amazing. Afterwards we took a walk down the boardwalk across the street. Great place to spend a weekend morning, we will definitely be back!

The staff here is wonderful! We came here for hot chocolate and then came back for lunch. Gyro was flavorful and fries were fresh! Will return!

A nice small town cafe. Based on location it's more expensive than some diners around us. Downtown Dexter is nice. Our server was friendly and on top of coffee fills and everything else. Food was good. Menu had most options you would look for including crepes... but no eggs benedict.

Best breakfast joint in Dexter. Must try! Every time I go here they make you feel like family. The owners help the workers side by side every day to provide an exceptional level of service and high quality diner food for both dining In or taking home. You have to try their biscuits and gravy.

Absolutely fantastic! Pancakes were perfectly light and fluffy, sausage was delicious! My wife chose the skillet (photo attached) and it was so good, I was FORCED to take a bite. Good coffee, great staff, and family-owned — highest recommendation.
